We are super excited to announce our official Try Hockey for Free date for beginner players here at Ice Realm Westminster! The Try Hockey event is designed to provide kids aged 4 to 9 the opportunity to try hockey in a FUN, safe environment with trained coaching staff. No experience necessary! There will be plenty of assistance on hand to be sure your child has the best hockey experience and answer any questions you may have!

What to Expect:
1. No Experience Necessary: This event is designed for first-time hockey players, so no prior skating or hockey experience is required. Our experienced coaching staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide guidance and support for every participant, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident as they take their first strides on the ice.
2. Free Loaner Hockey Gear: Ice Realm will provide all necessary equipment for your child including skates, helmets, and sticks. Just show up ready to have fun, and we'll take care of the rest. However, if you have your own gear, you're more than welcome to bring it.
3. Professional Instruction: Our certified coaches are here to guide your child through the basics of skating, puck handling, and teamwork in a supportive, stress-free atmosphere. We focus on building skills while having fun, ensuring your child walks away with a smile and an eagerness to continue playing.
4. Fun On and Off the Ice: This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, ask questions about youth hockey, and learn more about our programs at Ice Realm.
5. Family-Friendly Environment: Hockey is more than just a sport; it is a community! We want to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. After the event, you'll have the chance to learn more about our skating and hockey programs, including how your child can continue their hockey journey.
6. A Gateway to Youth Hockey: This is just the beginning! After participating in Try Hockey For Free, you'll receive information about how your child can join our Learnt to Play Hockey programs, which are tailored to help beginners continue to grow their skills.
